Google has brought out into Beta several services that attach to your domain name — email, calendaring, im and chat, and so forth, that can be used from within your domain, permitting sharing of calendars and the other applications.
I applied (https://www.google.com/a/) and was granted a license to use these things in connection with a Web site I run for my congregation, and will be playing with them in the next several weeks. (Of course, I don’t want to do anything that breaks the current functionality of e-mail and other applications that congregants and others currently use. If you have a domain that could use this stuff, surf over there and see if you can get on. (Google has said it may eventually charge for these services, but people who were using it in Beta will not be charged.)
Let me know and we can share experiences in getting this stuff working.
