I have been following the the anonymous troll tracker, rtolltracker.blogspot.com, for a bit. And although I still haven’t figured out what’s wrong with someone attempting to enforce a patent although he is not personally using it — I wasn’t aware there was a requirement in the Patent laws that requires you actually be making something or otherwise using the patent before suing — I have found the blog interesting.

In a post from a couple of days ago, the troll tracker explains why it is good to be a Federal Judge. At least one reason.

Today at 9:30 am in Phoenix, Arizona, the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation will meet to select new cases for MDL treatment. The fact that they are holding the hearing at the site of the Super Bowl, so close to the big game, has to be coincidental, right? Ever try getting a hotel in a Super Bowl city so close to the game? Not easy.

And here am I, having just shoveled out of a half foot of snow here in the Chicago area, and heading to New York City of Legal Tech, where the snow will probably catch up with me by the time I get there.
